Stumped and Dented Permanent

200km PARTY

From Caton into the Forest of Bowland for a descent of the Trough and on to Whalley, skirt Pendle Hill and pass close to Colne (or a short diversion for refreshment) and take the Old Rd to Skipton. From there climb via Eastby, descend to Barden Tower, more climbing to Stump Cross Caverns and cafe at 100km. Turn back then for a descent to Grassington followed by lovely Littondale to Halton Gill where the road climbs steeply before an enjoyable descent to Stainforth. Gently climb via Horton-in-Ribblesdale, to Ribblehead Viaduct and the less well known Denthead Viaduct to Dent. From there a steep but short climb followed by a descent of beautiful Barbondale and some flatter km back to Caton. An editable routesheet and GPS link will provided after entry. Travel in either direction and start at any control or anywhere along the route using GPS or eBrevet.

Badge available. Cost will be £3.00 inc P&P. Email if you’re interested.
