Preston-Brampton-Preston

The UKs very own PBP 300 and a BRM to qualify towards PBP 2027 entry.

WARNING – this event may only run as a PBP qualifier so this could be your only chance to ride it and get the unique Peak Audax event badge for another four years!

A 6am start from Asda/McDonalds at Fulwood, Preston with nearby Just Park paid parking available. A few early miles on the A6 then quiet roads and lanes through the Forest of Bowland, the Lune valley and Eden Valley to Brampton – your halfway point. Pretty much the same roads to return. Lots of shops, cafes and pubs on the way north but you may need to stock up for the return as most will shops will close by 10pm and pubs 11pm.

Controls are commercial or E-Brevet. As it is a BRM rather than BR, signed Brevet Cards MUST be returned as well as E-Brevet in order to validate. Postal details to return cards will be provided.

Preston is just off the M6/M55 interchange and is on the west coast mainline. Lots of budget hotels abound.
