Goyt Peak

100km PARTY

Explore the Goyt valley from Marple and New Mills to the Moors above Buxton, with lots of strenuous climbing at Jenkins Chapel, Macclesfield Forest, the Mudd and Werneth Low.
The ride crosses the Goyt early in the ride at Strines, before climbing past Windgather Rocks to drop to the Goyt valley at Errwood Reservoir and over Goyts Moss and Axe Edge Moor.

After a cafe stop at Longnor, you have a spectacular ride through Wildboarclough and Macclesfield Forest, before returning to the Goyt valley at Whalley Bridge, via Jenkins Chapel.

Save something for steep climbs up the Mudd and Werneth Low before returning to the waters of the Goyt again at Marple.

Not all controls have 24/7 options so you should choose your start time accordingly or use the e-brevet. You could also record your progress as a GPX file and submit that for validation.
