Edale

Starting from outside the Costa coffee shop in Marple the route takes you over the Snake Pass to the Hope Valley where there is often an ice cream van at the Ladybower Reservoir during the Spring and Summer. The Penny Pot cafe in Edale offers an opportunity for a stop before the push up Mam Nick. The route then heads though Chapel-en-le-Frith and the climb over Eccles Pike, the Eccles Pike ebrevet control is at the car parking spot where it briefly flattens out before the descent. Theres more climbing on the way back to Marple through Whalley Bridge and Disley.
