This Perm can count towards the Peak Audax Round The Year award PARTY.
If you use the Brevet app, note that Alderley Edge control works from both the cyclepath alongside Melrose Way the new bypass and from the Wizard if you decide to put in the optional climb of The Edge as well as in the village itself.
Similarly, Swan Green control works from Tree Tops cafe on the A50, the Snow Drop cafe on Free Green Lane, the Tree of Imagination, and from Swan Green village store.

Tree of Imagination
There is Pay and Display parking at Massie Street, free on Sundays but do you check that this hasnt changed. For free parking, try Abney Hall car park
The ride has an optional climb of Swiss Hill, a notorious cobbled climb in Alderley Edge. Can you get up without having to walk There is an enticing cafe at the top behind the Wizard pub, if that makes a bit of an incentive. Once at the top the only way is down, a swooping tree-lined descent on Artists Lane. And dont worry, if you prefer to skip the climb and descent, you can take the easier way alongside the Alderley Edge bypass.
If you find yourself riding through a car park at the Carrs between Wilmslow and Styal, don’t worry, you’re going the right way. You do this twice)
NB you will be asked for the ride date on the online entry form but this can be amended prior to setting off
or anywhere on route if using eBrevet or GPX
