Summer Solstice

This is our long-running winter favourite, but without all that cold and ice and dark nights and falling off (we hope!). It is a very similar route to the Winter Solstice, but starting from Marple, and including a few more lanes, which we normally avoid in December.

The ride starts from Costa Coffee, There are paid car parks in the town centre and plenty of free on street parking, with convenient parking for the finish around recreation ground.

The route follows a slightly undulating route to Alderley Edge before a relatively flat route across the Cheshire Plain to Market Drayton for a lunch stop, returning via Whitchurch.
The finish is at Marple Services and Forces Club with free refreshments.
