A ride based on the long-running Calendar event. Ride any day you wish, except for the day of the Newport 200 Calendar event
From the start, the route heads south through Holmes Chapel, Alsager, Woore to on the way to Newport. There are several useful cafes in Newport, including a Costa, Waitrose supermarket and the Garden Centre on the bypass.
The Perm version starts from Dean Row (between Stockport and Wilmslow) with parking available in a nearby layby. You will find a 24/7 petrol station and an excellent Robinson’s Pub, You could start at any control if this is more convenient.
No big climbs and lots of pleasant lanes in Cheshire and Staffordshire.
