Holme Moss

55Km permanent cycling event starting from Glossop.
A ride over Holme Moss starting from outside Glossop train station. After climbing Holme Moss the route drops into Holmfirth for the opportunity for a cafe stop, the route climbs out of Holmfirth on Holmfirth road commonly known as the Isle of Skye road which offers some great views of Dovestones reservoir as you descend into Greenfield. The route rides well in either direction and passes close by both Stalybridge and Mossley train stations which would both make good alternative starting points.
