Derwent Valley Reservoirs

100km PARTY

The 105km Permanent Version of the Autumn in the Peaks Calendar Event.
A hilly ride out to the Peak District over the Snake Pass before a detour around the Upper Derwent Valley Reservoirs including approximately 12kms of gravel tracks.
The return route touches on a section of the White Peak with a visit to the Cathedral of the Peak at Tideswell, before a delightful ride through Perrydale, and stiff climbs to Peaslow and Peep O’Day.
With some 15km offroad, maybe best suited for a gravel bike, but doable on any bike.
This is, in parts, an arduous ride over hilly, and exposed terrain. There are steep climbs and descents with some rough surfaces, please moderate your speed appropriately. You should study the route before setting out. You should carry food and drink, basic spares and tools, adequate clothing.
You must use electronic proof of passage (GPS or E-Brevet) for this event.
