Buxton

69Km permanent cycling event starting from Marple.
A ride to Buxton which takes you through the beautiful Goyt Valley. Starting from outside the Costa coffee shop in Marple the route offers some stunning views as you climb up to and through the Goyt Valley. The route takes you to Eat at No5 a fantastic little cafe in Buxton but there are plenty of other options for a stop in Buxton. You climb out of Buxton up Long Hill, turning off the descent to head through Shallcross and then on to the climb up to Eccles Pike, the e-brevet control at Eccles Pike is at the car parking spot where the climb levels out. You then head back to Marple via New Mills. There is plenty of climbing and plenty of fabulous view on this route.
