A revised route for 2019, with a new control at Waverton allowing greater flexibility of ride times. Visit some great cyclist's cafes at Audlem (Priest House) and Beeston (Flavours) via some pleasant Cheshire lanes.

Setting out from Dean Row (between Stockport and Wilmslow) you are soon into the Cheshire countryside, passing Peover Hall and Hassal on the way to Alsager, or call at Radway Green if you are ready for a first cafe stop. Next is Audlem , where the Priest House cafe always has a warm welcome for cyclists (try the Staffordshire Oakcakes to sample the local cuisine)

The route then takes you somewhere near the Secret Bunker (don't tell anyone), skirting Nantwich to call at Bunbury, where you'll find another favourite cafe stop, at Tilly's.

The return to Dean Row uses the bridleway and ford at Swettenham (although the foot bridge here is by far the best bet).

The route has been updated for 2019 resulting in a reduction on the number of controls, all of which are now available over 24 hours, giving greater flexibility in choice of where and when to start.
